What size mattress do I need?Getting the right size and shape is essential as little limbs can easily get caught in gaps at the sides and ends of the cribs. That’s why we always recommend that any gap should be no more than 3 cm. We have mattresses to perfectly fit all our nursery furniture from a moses basket up to single beds, as well as special sizes for items outside of our standard range. How to measure: To measure the size of the mattress you need, measure the internal length and internal width of the furniture in cm. Note: Always position your mattress in the centre of your cot so that there is no more than a 2 cm gap between the cot and the mattress on the side, top, or bottom, once it has fully expanded. This allows the mattress to settle in use and leaves space for bedding. A gap on any side under 2 cm is considered safe and acceptable.
Ensure the Perfect Fit for Your Baby's Safety
When purchasing a mattress for your baby’s cot, it is crucial to ensure a snug fit with no gaps larger than 2 cm between the mattress and the sides of the cot. This helps to prevent any risk of entrapment and ensures your baby's safety. Please measure your cot carefully and select the correct mattress size to avoid any issues. We recommend trying the mattress first in your cot to confirm it fits before removing its protective packaging. For hygiene reasons, we cannot accept returns or exchanges on mattresses that have been opened. By confirming your purchase, you acknowledge understanding and agreeing to our terms and conditions regarding mattress size and our hygiene policy.
