Baby Product Specialists Since 1936
Samuel Johnston has been a trusted name in baby products since 1936, making us one of the UK's and Ireland’s longest-established nursery specialists. 2026 marks our 90th year, a milestone that reflects nine decades of experience in helping families choose products for their babies and children.
For generations, families have trusted Samuel Johnston for quality prams, pushchairs, car seats, nursery products and knowledgeable advice. Today, we remain a family-owned and run business, combining 90 years of nursery experience with the convenience, choice and value of modern online shopping.
While the way families shop has changed considerably since 1936, our focus remains the same: providing trusted baby and nursery products from leading brands, backed by knowledgeable service and dependable delivery.
Serving Families Across the UK & Ireland
Today, Samuel Johnston specialises in online retail, with fulfilment operations in Belfast and Dublin serving customers throughout Northern Ireland, Great Britain and the Republic of Ireland.
Our multi-location fulfilment network allows orders to be dispatched from the most appropriate warehouse for the customer's delivery address and the products ordered. This helps us provide fast, efficient delivery while reducing unnecessary cross-border shipping processes wherever possible.
Our Belfast operation at Apollo Road provides warehousing, order fulfilment, online order collections and returns.
Trusted Baby & Nursery Brands
We carefully select products from established nursery brands, giving families choice across every stage of their baby's journey.
Our extensive range includes prams and pushchairs, carrycots, travel systems, infant and child car seats, ISOFIX bases, nursery furniture, highchairs, feeding products, baby equipment, toys and accessories.
Whether you're preparing for a new arrival, choosing your first travel system or moving your child into their next car seat, our aim is to make it easy to find trusted products from leading baby and nursery brands.
90 Years of Nursery Heritage
A great deal has changed since Samuel Johnston began in 1936, but our specialism in baby products has remained at the heart of the business.
Now celebrating our 90th year, we combine our long-established heritage with modern ecommerce, an extensive product range and a UK and Ireland fulfilment network — while remaining a family-owned and run business.
Our aim remains simple: to provide families with quality baby products, knowledgeable service, competitive value and dependable delivery.
