The Snuza HeroMD is a medically certified, portable baby breathing monitor designed to detect abdominal movement while a baby sleeps. It clips directly onto a correctly fitted nappy, requires no cords, sensor pads, Wi-Fi or app, and provides vibration and audible alerts if breathing movement is not detected.

Product Description

The flexible sensor tip rests against the baby’s abdomen and continuously detects breathing-related movement. If no movement is detected for 15 seconds, HeroMD gently vibrates in an attempt to rouse the baby. If movement does not resume within a further five seconds, at 20 seconds in total, a loud audible alarm alerts the caregiver.

HeroMD is a certified Class IIb medical device that has been clinically evaluated for efficacy and reliability. An optional volume-controlled ticking function provides an audible indication of detected movement, while adjustable settings allow the monitor to be configured according to the instructions.

The lightweight unit is made from medical-grade plastic and silicone and is free from BPA, phthalates, lead and latex. Its included CR2 battery typically provides approximately four to six months of use when operated for an average of eight hours per day, although actual battery life depends on usage and alarm frequency.

Compatibility
