The Motorola PIP10 is a simple and reliable digital audio baby monitor that uses DECT wireless technology to provide clear, interference-free sound and a secure private connection. Its portable parent unit, high-sensitivity microphone and long outdoor range help parents listen out for their baby throughout the home.

Product Description

The sensitive microphone in the baby unit picks up sounds from the nursery and transmits them clearly to the parent unit. Volume controls allow the sound level to be adjusted, while the mute function can silence the speaker when required.

When muted, the sound-alert indicator flashes and the parent unit beeps if a loud sound is detected. Out-of-range and low-battery alerts provide additional reassurance, and the DECT connection offers a range of up to 50 metres indoors and 300 metres outdoors in an unobstructed line of sight.

The baby unit remains connected to mains power, while the parent unit can be powered using its included adapter or made portable with two AAA batteries, available separately.

Compatibility

The PIP10 operates as a standalone DECT monitor and does not require Wi-Fi, Bluetooth or a smartphone app. The system can support a second compatible PIP10 parent unit. Two AAA batteries are required for portable parent-unit operation and are sold separately.
