how does it not float? are the suction cups the only thing holding it down?

Hi Beck, The suction cups keep it very firmly attached to the bath and also the base has drainage holes so water can freely move in and out of the seat base. Regards SJ

Hi, please can you tell me the dimensions of this bath seat, both when upright and reclined. Thanks.

Hi Sarah,
Sorry for the delay, we just needed to get the exact measurements for you from a stock model. Please see below:
We have used the interior dimensions as this is what you are probably looking for.
UPRIGHT:
The width between the armrests is 25am and 28 cm at its narrowest and widest points respectively.
The length from the seat back to the top of the bar is 23 cm, and from seat back to bottom of the bar is 25cm. The armrest height is 24cm.
RECLINED:
The width is the same as above 25-28cm. The height of the seat back is reduced to 10cm when fully reclined.
I hope that helps Sarah,
Kind regards,
samuel Johnston ltd.

Hi, please can you tell me the external dimensions of this bath seat as I have a narrow bath and want to make sure it will fit. I've read reviews for your other bath seat, (the fluid ring) that says it is quite wide and therefore doesn't always suction to the bottom of narrow baths properly.
Many thanks.

Hi Sarah,
No problem, the widest point of the Aqua is 34cm (at the outer edges of the handle) and the maximum length (with the seat full reclined) is 54cm from end to end.
I hope that helps!
Kind Regards,
Samuel Johnston Ltd.
