Jane Montecarlo R1 Group 2/3 Isofix Car Seat From  £99.00

Having wasted nearly 6 weeks waiting for a competitor to deliver an identical (and allegedly in stock!) product I gave up and called Samuel Johnston to enquire about stock availability. The product was on my doorstep 48 hours later. Absolutely fantastic service from a small company that gets it right first time. Would highly recommend them, and if we have more children (which I'm told we won't!!!) I will be ordering everything from them!

Adjustable height and width also reclines

This is the second Jane isofix ca**eat I have bought as have the original Indyplus for the 8yr old and now this for his 4yr old brother. The concept is fantastic, base locks into the isofix and holds the whole thing rigid, sides and headrest go in and out to allow for size of small child, as one son is really skinny and other average. The base can recline enough to give a really comfortable ride with no forward hed lolling as you get with so many other seats.The whole this is narrow enough that I get both seats fixed side by side and still get another person in the back comfortably. Many comparable seats are just too wide for this. It comes apare into two bits and I have packed the whole thing in a large holdal and stuck it on a ryanair flight. Both of my boys love the seat and it is so easy to adjust the height if someone different sits in. The fabric is a sensible colour, (did try to get small boy to go for nice chocolate brown but he liked the red!) and has a lovely feel to it. The covers are really easy to remove and fit for cleaning.

Great car seat that's ISOFIX compatible. Safer but also I love that I don't have to keep remembering to get out of the drivers seat to belt it up again when it's empty when I leave the kids off at school. Most parents should know when you unbelt a booster seat to get your child out of the car, you need to belt it again because it will be loose in the back of your car and could cause fatal injury in an accident. It's so easy to move between cars, and much lighter than previous car seats that I've used in the past.

Strong build and comfortable. My 4 yo daughter loves it, especially after decorating it with princesses and fairy stickers.

our almost 4 yr old was just coming up on 18 kg so needed to go into a booster, i automatically looked at jane first as after doing a lot of research when she was small the jane exo came out tops for safety, which is what we purchased then. I wanted an iso fix booster also for safety reasons so the monte carlo r 1 was perfect. ordered the petite chat one for a little girl, didnt fail to impress! seats are well padded comfy to sit in had added advantage of recline tho she hasnt fell asleep in seat yet. plenty of head protection and high deep side wings. Backrest also adjusts very easily would def reccommend this seat as it is very safe, comfy and easy to fit in car. covers are also water repellent, and all strip off easily for washing. The only thing i could suggest adding would be a pop out cup holder, but i wouldnt not buy seat because of it!

Our 4 year old grand-daughter had just about outgrown her stage 1 car seat, and her 2 year old sister wasn't far behind in size. Having researched and compared safety, styles, sizes and prices from many different manufacturers and suppliers, this Jane came out as the best option (for us)and we bought 2, the second to be fitted in a few months. It turns out that this choice was not a good one. In the past we have had occasional difficulty in persuading the elder to get into her seat for journeys. This is no longer so. Fortunately the car is parked not far from the house, so carrying out the food and drink to the grand-daughter who wants to stay in the chair most of the time........

Car seats are of good design and are easy to fit and with the added security of the isofix base all for a very reasonable price and with excelant service from Samuel Johnston all in all well worth the money

Had an Jane Exo when she was younger, so this was a natural progression. Easy to fit and really inspires confidence.

I bought two of these seats for my wife and I. After research these seats seem to be one of the best on the market. I'm very pleased with the seats, they appear to be a class leader in terms of safety and they look good also.

Really happy with this car seat for my 3 year old. Has isofix and can tilt back slightly so v happy. Delivery was speedy too - would use Samuel Johnston and Jane Montecarlo again

I would recommend to all parents of 3 yrs olds onward.

High quality car seat doesn't recline as much as I thought quite easy to fit once you work it out
