This base is so easy to use. the car seat just sets on it and by pressing a button it comes off again. You could get it any easier. Brilliant!!
Great product and looking forward to using now. Delivery was very fast to us in Ireland. We are already looking to order more from site.
Solid piece of kit - excellent delivery and service from Samuel Johnston.

I have just recently bought this base and have a quick question about it. Why does the handle have to be put forward when using the base? The point in buying was the base was to save me time as I had been just using the seat belt prior to this. But because I have to undo the zips everytime to put the handle forward and then do them back up when I take the seat out, it is so time consuming. I have the Jane Trider formula system and I couldnt fault any part of it except the zips on the strata as I feel that they are a time consuming design flaw.
Thanks in advance for your reply.

Hi there presumably this model replaces the one with the hydraulic absorption system? Is it now considered not necessary to have the absorption system which I understood was to absorb shock from impact? Is this design as safe as the previous one if there is no 'give' in the base?

Hi,
I've recently bought the Jane Trider Travel System from you guys with the Strata car seat. None of our cars have isofix, but doing some research it suggests that this base can be attached using the seatbelt rather than the isofixings and various youtube videos show this....however, the video on your website doesn't.....can it be attached using seatbelt?

We have a 2012 Skoda Octavia Estate and have tried this base out in the back seat but we can't get the base to lie flat against the flat seat of the car- there is a 2cm gap between the base and the flat seat of the car in order to get the foot on the floor. Is this normal and/or safe?
