Hi,
I need to purchase one of these but I'm not sure which type will fit my pushchair. My pushchair is Jane Slalom Pro, year 2007 I think, ebory color(orange and grey).

Thanks for getting in touch, hopefully I can help!
If you have a Slalom Pro in Ebory then you definitely need the Type A harness. This model (I don't believe) was ever made with a type b harness so if you order an A it will definitely fit.

Thanks for getting in touch with us. I have had a look into your enquiry and also got in contact with the Jane service department. They have said that the Rider and Trider waist harness would be a "Type A"

i bought a jane carrera martrix pro travel system in 2006 maybe 2007 i am looking for the right strap so that i can just use the buggie part could you tell me what waist harness strap i need

Hi Gemma,
Thanks for getting in touch, hopefully we can help.
Unfortunately around 2006/7 was when they actually changed over between the type A and type B harness - so its virtually impossible to say for certain which type your buggy needs if you have lost the original harness to be able to compare it.
To be honest I would think you have a better chance of a correct fit with the type A harness as these were more common across the board, but you must understand that we cannot say for certain. I have checked with teh Jane repair centre who have basically confirmed the same, it is most likely type A but they wouldnt be able to give a definite answer.

Hi I'm needing to purchase a new set of these, are they sold as a set of both waist straps or would I need to purchase two? Sorry if it seems a daft query but just wanted to not make a mistake when ordering.

Hi Rob,
No problem at all, hopefully I can help!
The waist harnesses are actually one long single piece of nylon webbing, with a buckle clip on each end, which fit together to then connect into the crotch buckle. So you only need one waist harness per pushchair - the tricky part is finding out which type (A or B) you need if you have lost your original one!
If you unsure, drop our customer services team a quick email at customer-services@samueljohnston.co.uk andlet them know which model of pushchair you have and they should be able to give you a "best guess" as to which harness you need. Sadly we cant be 100% accurate on these suggestions as many Jane models used both types of harness through their production runs.
