I replaced the brake pedal assembly on my Jane Slalom pram after the original system wore to the point the cable kept slipping off.
This replacement was easy to fit and works as well as the original part when new. It came fully assembled to the replacement brake cable. I drilled out the original rivet and then disconnected the brake cable from both sides of the pram. The old assembly was gently tapped out of the frame frame with a hammer. I tied the new cable to the old one with some electrical tape and then used the old one to guide the new one through the frame. Then simply replaced the brake cable on the left part. I closed the rivet to keep the unit in place and it now works perfectly again. Would recommend.
Unit is of high quality, very robust. Identical to original.
